PLAYING ON OUR HENRY MURRAY STAGE

"You ever think maybe you were supposed to be somebody else and...you got side-tracked?"
Josephine Rosen, a secretary still living with her mother, faces her 20-year high school reunion - and a life that hasn’t turned out the way she’d hoped. But an unlikely friendship with a co-worker and a surprising romance with an old classmate could change all that.
Nice Girl is a funny and heartbreaking story about confronting who you are– and who you still might have a chance to become.

Nice Girl: Tea Time
Spill the Tea with...
A three part series where the audience may remain in the house after the show with snacks and invited guests from affinity groups tying the themes of Nice Girl to our everyday lives. It's a gathering without a talk back.
The Henry Murray Space is an intimate theatrical venue (35 seats) and Nice Girl is set in Boston, giving us an opportunity to set up an environment where we can drink and spill the tea. Throughout the run of Nice Girl, we’re offering four unique post-show experiences where you can relax in the space after curtain call, raise your cup, and connect with friends—or make new ones. Special guests whose work aligns with the themes of the event will be joining us.
Everyone is welcome to stay.
Nice Girl explores figuring out who you are and letting go of who you were supposed to be. The purpose of this series is to highlight community members in L.A. who are not afraid to go after what they want and are leading inspiring lives in the arts and beyond.
