RENT OUR STAGE
Rogue Machine Theatre rents out two professional performance spaces on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles at the legendary Matrix Theatre.
We support a wide range of uses: from fully staged theatrical runs to workshops, rehearsals, readings, film shoots, and live events. Whether you are developing new work or presenting a finished production, our spaces are designed to help you do it efficiently and at a professional standard in the heart of Los Angeles.
We operate and rent out two stages:

MainStage — up to 99 seats, fixed seating

Henry Murray Stage (HMS) — flexible seating, approximately 35–40 seats
Both spaces are available for rental during certain time periods every the year (when we are not actively running a show).

OUR SPACES
MainStage
Up to 99 Seats | Ground Floor
The MainStage is Rogue Machine Theatre’s primary performance venue, located in the historic Matrix Theatre.
The playing space features a semi-circular configuration, allowing strong audience connection while supporting full scenic builds and technically complex productions.
This stage has hosted decades of professional work, including world premieres, transfers, and Los Angeles premieres. Recent productions include the L.A. premiere of Fairview and anthropology.

Henry Murray Stage (HMS)
38–40 Seats | Upstairs | Flexible Layout
The Henry Murray Stage is a flexible performance space designed for adaptable staging and close audience relationships.
Opened in 2023, it has already hosted multiple world premieres, including Adolescent Salvation last year and L.A.’s theatre cult playwright Justin Tanner’s solo show My Son the Playwright. The space can be configured to suit a range of staging styles and is particularly effective for smaller casts.

Most productions use packages, which bundle performance and technical time and offer the best overall value. Custom quotes are available for unique projects.
