After 16 years of service, Founding Artistic Director John Perrin Flynn will be leaving his post as Artistic Director of Rogue Machine. On December 8, 2024 Rogue Machine will be hosting A Standing Ovation for John, a Celebration at the Los Angeles LGBT Center from 5:30PM – 8:30PM in honor of his contributions to the L.A. Theatre community.
John founded Rogue Machine in 2008 with a vision to bring bold, thought provoking, and provocative theater to Los Angeles and to create a home for local LA playwrights while also seeking out challenging, original plays from across the country. With this focus on infusing LA theatre with exciting new works, John helped make Rogue Machine one of the most daring and innovative theater companies in the city.
We hope you’ll join us for this memorable celebration, including good food, good company, and some fun entertainment, as we celebrate John and continue his vision into the future.
There is plenty of parking available at the Center. You can park on Level One (P1). The parking entrance can be found on McCadden Place, just north of Santa Monica Blvd. Like most lots, just take a ticket to raise the ‘arm’ and insert it at the kiosk to pay on your way out. From the Parking Lot: Please take the elevator to the plaza level using the 1R button and exit onto the Plaza. The theatre is across the street in Village at Ed Gould Plaza. Just come on over, and people will be here to guide you and answer any questions.
Cocktail attire, please.
